Well we got a reeeaaaallllyyy high tide, not to bad on the wind front, never lost electric except when the outlet in the garage zapped out while we were messing with the fridge that was falling over. Quote from DJ when zap out occured "Run" - like we can outrun electricity. Anyway we laid the fridge on its side on the foam panels (that it was standing on until it floated got unstable and fell) and weighted it down with a bunch of old albums I had in milk crates. Never ran out of cold Schaefer beer!!!

Here is pic of back yard & canal and looking from front step across our street (note: that water is not rain, it is the Great South Bay - we found a dead needle fish and sponge in the driveway, our neighbor a few houses down found a blueclaw crab in her front yard.

Tide went out pretty quick and because there was not real high wind there was minimal tree damage. I have friends in VT and they seem to have gotten much worse because of the heavy rain. We got the east side of storm so didn't see the heavy rain of the north west part of the storm.
